How 2Hollis Opening for Ken Carson's Tour Changed the Ears of the New Gen
2Hollis is a rapper, producer, and EDM artist, most recently known for going on tour with Ken Carson. Ken Carson is a rapper signed to the 'Opium' label, which is famous for its heavy bass, mysterious aura, and wild fanbase. Ken's tour kicked off on July 8th in Orlando, Florida, with 2Hollis as a featured artist. Just one month before the tour began, 2Hollis dropped his viral album “boy”. When he hit the stage, not many of Ken’s fans were familiar with his music, but they described his sound as 'different' and 'hype.' Despite this, Ken’s notoriously crazy fans quickly took to 2Hollis, moshing during his set and even before he came on stage, making every stop of the tour unforgettable. Fans started heading over to his page and started listening to his music, leading him to peak his monthly listeners.
A New Sound for an Established Fanbase
When the tour kicked off in Orlando, some fans had never heard of 2Hollis. But once he hit the stage, it quickly became something different. Instead of the rage beats and flow they were used to from Ken Carson, 2Hollis brought a fresh mix of EDM and alternative rap,and blending experimental sounds. At first, some fans didn't like it, but the energy of his performance quickly hooked them. Soon, even Ken’s wild fanbase was moshing to 2Hollis’ set. By the end of the tour, 2Hollis had gone from being relatively unknown in the rage scene to a rising artist, with his streams and social media following growing rapidly. What started as a small, niche sound had turned into a movement, bringing 2Hollis to the brink of his global tour in an ever-evolving music scene.
2025 North America Tour
2Hollis hit the road on January 16 in Houston, Texas, kicking off his highly anticipated North American tour. Over the course of the tour, he performed at 12 different venues, including two in Canada, and impressively sold out every single stage he played!
We caught up with a few fans during his Boston show at the Paradise Rock Club, and here’s what they had to say:
“I first heard about 2Hollis when they announced the Great Chaos Tour. I didn’t know who he was at the time, so I looked him up, and I’ve loved his music ever since,” shared one fan.
Another fan said, “I’ve listened to Ken for a while, but I wanted to switch up what I was listening to. When I saw 2Hollis perform at Roadrunner for the first time, it got me into his music more and introduced me to other genres as well. It definitely pushed me out of my comfort zone, but I’m so glad it did.”
The Future of 2Hollis
2Hollis’ rise from relative unknown to headlining sold-out shows proves his unique sound is sticking with the new generation.
With with this movement, 2Hollis is shaping the future of rap and EDM. As his audience grows, it’s clear he’s just getting started and the best is yet to come.
