The high-spirited rap duo Homixide Gang celebrated their recent album Homixide Lifestyle 2 at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles, closing out the month of August with a high-energy performance featuring plenty of hits and rising underground openers.

Upon entering the Fonda Theatre, the duo’s cult-like fanbase instantly began moshing and singing as Hakeem Rowe warmed up the crowd by playing tracks from fellow Opium label members Playboi Carti, Ken Carson, and Destroy Lonely. Following thrilling opening sets from Highway and Apollo Red—complemented by a surprise appearance from Nine Vicious—the audience was primed for an unforgettable performance by Homixide Gang.

After an extended introduction for Lifestyle, fans opened up the pits with anticipation and excitement, preparing for the wild night ahead. To raise the intensity, the Atlanta-native duo launched into PC5, immediately showcasing the energy and style of their latest album, Homixide Lifestyle 2.

Atlanta is home to both of Homixide Gang’s members, Homixide Beno and Homixide Meechie, who emerged from the underground rap scene and are quickly gaining recognition for their gritty, hard-hitting production and aggressive lyrics. Their music demands heavy crowd involvement, much like that of their label-mates Ken Carson and Playboi Carti.

Homixide Gang’s explosive performance and constant crowd interaction carried the night, with the duo performing songs across their catalog while engaging directly with fans, often exchanging the iconic “YVL handshake.” After the show, the pair met fans outside in flashy sports cars, quickly drawing a flash mob and signing merchandise—ending the night in truly epic fashion.
